The Forbidden District was the district located on the planet Exegol that bordered the Sith Citadel. It housed derelict shipyard forges that dated back to the old Sith Wars for control of the galaxy.[1]
Shortly after the rise to power of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, the Sith Lord began to modernize these facilities as part of his long-view contingency to keep a bastion of power secret from even his Imperial cronies. Clandestine shipments of materiel from corporate coconspirators[1] within the executive boards of Sienar-Jaemus and Kuat-Entralla[2] updated these facilities to produce Xyston-class Star Destroyers and new TIE/dg starfighters. When active, these automated forges can work tirelessly, far from the view of the New Republic.[1]
