Fogo Charu was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order. He was the author of a work titled The Wisdom of Master Fogo Charu, Jedi, which was entirely dedicated to fishing.[1] In 33 BBY,[2] Master Eeth Koth found a gilded datapad in the Lamplighter Boutique on the planet Kwenn, which contained Charu's work, and had been imprinted with a symbol indicating it had circulated through the library in the Kwenn Jedi outpost. Although Koth considered this a lesser work, it was a sign that items stolen from the outpost had been sold to the boutique.[1]
