Flyhorn lizard

Flyhorn lizards, also simply known as flyhorns, were a type of lizard found on the planet Tatooine, where they lived solitary lives out in the world's deserts. While staying cool in the sand, the creatures would use their horns and wide fan-like tails to collect condensation and catch smaller insects to eat. Some moisture farmers habitually estimated their yields by observing flyhorn lizards near their farms.[1]

Behind the scenes

Flyhorn lizards were created for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which released on August 30, 2024. Prior to the game's release, the creatures were revealed in a gameplay preview released on June 10, 2024.[2]
