Flash was a clone trooper who served in the 501st Legion of Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Flash was a member of the 501st's Torrent Company and[2] in the year 21 BBY[3] spent some time in the Grand Army of the Republic's barracks and sat with fellow clone troopers Checkers, Coric, and Dandy. Eventually, Flash, along with the rest of Torrent Company, geared up and boarded a troop carrier which took them to the Indomitable, a Republic cruiser. Aboard the cruiser, Torrent Company left for the planet Lanteeb to rescue Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi who were trapped behind enemy lines.[2]
Behind the scenes
Flash appeared in the novel, Clone Wars Gambit: Siege, authored by Karen Miller and published in 2010.[2] Flash shares names with another clone from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode Jedi Crash.[4] While the two clones share the same name, they are not the same person as the clone from the episode dies in the year 22 BBY,[5] while the clone from the novel is seen alive the year after, in 21 BBY.[3]
