The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

The first individual to be Grand Protector,[1] leader of the Rodian species' civilization on the[2] planet[3] Rodia[2] possessed a ceremonial blaster that,[1] by 3637 BBY,[4] was rumored to be buried beneath the Wesessa Sea on Rodia.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

By that year,[4] an individual affiliated with one of the factions in the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire sent a companion of theirs to recover the ceremonial blaster.[1]

Behind the scenes

The ceremonial blaster belonging to the first Grand Protector was mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "The First Protector," released as part of the 2014 Shadow of Revan expansion to the 2011 BioWare video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.[1]

The post also states that Game Updates released in 2014 can be placed in early and mid 3637 BBY, Shadow of Revan takes place near the end of that year, and that the events of Game Updates 3.1 through 3.3 can be placed in early and mid 3636 BBY. Therefore, the events of Game Update 3.0 and the Digital Expansion Shadow of Revan can be placed near the end of 3637 BBY. As the Crew Skill mission "The First Protector" was released with the Shadow of Revan expansion, it must therefore take place around that year as well.
