First Empire was a boxed campaign set planned to be released by West End Games. Pablo Hidalgo was involved, and in his own words:

"This was to be a boxed campaign set, a la DarkStryder or Lords of the Expanse. It never got off the planning stages. It only consisted of a few discussions between myself and Eric Trautmann. I think Tim Zahn and Mike Stackpole shared some ideas with him as well. Since it was never pitched to Lucasfilm (as far as I know), I won't share any details on it. It had no title, but First Empire was my working suggestion. I think it's pretty cool, and maybe someday, it'll somehow be resurrected."
