- "I have submitted this SecuriDex particularly for Cene because of her unpredictable style: her amazing abilities very nearly cost me one of my newest soldiers during training movements on Fislan."
- ―Bren Derlin, in a Rebel Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex file on Cene Gilvent
Fislan was a terrestrial celestial body[3] situated in the Fislan system, a part of the Mortex sector[1] in the Trans-Hydian portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] At some point by 2 ABY,[4] a Rebel Alliance force carried out training movements on Fislan, at which time the Ocsin swordmaster Cene Gilvent, a member of the Zulirian Swordmasters group of melee weapon afficionados, attacked and nearly killed one of the Rebel soldiers. Alliance Major Bren Derlin subsequently mentioned the encounter in a Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex datafile on Gilvent.[3]
Behind the scenes
Fislan was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas subsequently placed the Fislan system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square R-4.[1]
