Gamall Wironicc was an individual who found himself stranded on[1] the planet[2] Tatooine. A strange wanderer, he was rumored to have sacrificed himself in battle so that his comrades could live on, at some point prior to being stuck on Tatooine. Wironicc missed everything that he would never be.[1]
Behind the scenes
Umpass-stay's image being used to represent the Gamall Wironicc character
The Gamall Wironicc character was created in the 2001 Tatooine Limited expansion set of Decipher's Star Wars Customizable Card Game. His card used the image of Umpass-stay,[1] a Klatooinian visible in the Jabba's Palace scenes of the 1983 film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.[2] As a result of that inconsistency, in 2011, Holocron continuity database maintainer Leland Chee announced that he was planning to retcon Wironicc as one of several unnamed Klatooinians seen in the background of the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[3] However, that retcon was never implemented before the Expanded Universe was declared non-canon.[4] For this reason, Wironicc's species is also considered undetermined.
