Biography
- "The Empire is experimenting with some sort of concentrated energy compound. It's unstable and dangerous. I need you to recover a sample of that compound as well as development notes and the original design overview. I would get them, but I lack the security clearance and don't have your military prowess. Or at the very least, don't have your courage."

After the Battle of Yavin, T'licl Zanedi worked as a scientist for the Galactic Empire in a secret research center disguised as a simple warehouse, in the Riverlands region of the planet Corellia. The Imperial scientists working there intended to develop a new sort of concentrated energy source.[1]
However, in 1 ABY,[2] T'licl Zanedi realized that the compound was unstable and dangerous. Out of concern for the possible environmental impact and long-term dangers of the Empire having such a substance, Zanedi sought out the Rebellion since he felt that he did not possess the means to do anything himself. He therefore contacted the Rebel Alliance. In response, Qual'do Herm, an Alliance officer working in the Rebel base on Corellia, dispatched a group of Rebel operatives to met with T'licl near the warehouse. The Ithorian hoped that they could infiltrate the facility and gave instructions to retrieve the design overview and research notes relating to the compound, as well as a sample. The warehouse was protected by an experienced stormtrooper squad and the operation proved to be a challenge. Finally, the Rebel spacers were successful, with details of the compound eventually being turned over to Qual'do Herm and the rest of the Alliance for further investigation.[1]

Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE) — Rebel Quest: "The Ithorian Scientist" on Corellia
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
