Tinch[1] was a female[2] human who worked as a shopkeeper during the Imperial Era. She had bought and sold used curios for many years. Her shop was built out of a starship that had been grounded for a long time, with living quarters in a tent in the space above.[3] At one point during the early Imperial Era, Luthen Rael and Kleya Marki tried to sell Tinch a carved figurine weighing one kilogram. Rael asked for the price of twenty Credits and Tinch made a counteroffer of seven, but Marki haggled up the price to eighteen Credits.[1]
Behind the scenes
Tinch was portrayed by Juliet Cowan in the live-action Disney+ series Andor, first appearing in the tenth episode, "Make It Stop,"[1] aired on May 13, 2025.[4] The character's name was revealed in the final credits for the episode.[1]
