Enrako

The enrako^[1] was a space–faring creature found in the Kijimi Nebula located in the Mid Rim's Kijimi system.^[2] The creature's name was mentioned in the song "Wake Up the Enrako" by the band Arctic Nobaki.^[1] In 3 ABY,^[3] the song was available on the jukebox at the Domak Refectory, a cantina on the planet Kijimi located in the same star system.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The enrako was mentioned in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.^[1] Concept art for the enrako's design and its iteration from a more intricate design to a more simplified design released in the 2025 The Art of Star Wars: Outlaws reference book. During the game's development, the team envisioned that the enrako would feed on the ice nebula until nothing was left, while its ice shards would emit vapor that would replenish the nebula, thus giving it a transient nature. A visual depiction of the enrako and an explanation of its effect on the nebula was ultimately not included in the game to keep it a mystery.^[2]
