"Careful there. Wouldn't want you to get hurt. Yet."
"Look, I don't have any credits. Flix and Orka don't pay me. My real job barely pays me. I'm just doing this as a favor."
"Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, uh-huh. Well, it's nothing personal, kid. It's just business."

Teroj's blaster was a blaster pistol owned by the First Order operative Teroj Kee. In 34 ABY, he wielded the weapon on the supertanker fuel depot Colossus while stealing a phase connector mining device from the platform's Office of Acquisitions. At the Colossus's loading docks, he threatened the mechanic Kazuda Xiono with the blaster before returning to the Office of Acquisitions and firing repeatedly at Xiono's droid, BB-8. Aboard his freighter, he fired several shots at the gorg Bitey after the creature sabotaged the vessel.

History

"No! Get away from those, you little pest!"
―Teroj Kee, wielding his blaster at Bitey — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[2]

In 34 ABY,[3] Kee kept the blaster in a holster on his hip while visiting the supertanker fuel depot Colossus. Posing as a member of the Mining Guild, he sought to steal a rare phase connector mining device from the platform's Office of Acquisitions while its owners, Flix and Orka, were away. Upon approaching the mechanic Kazuda Xiono, who was helping manage the store for Flix and Orka, Kee kept his hand on his blaster as he impatiently conversed with Xiono. Upon being informed that the Office of Acquisitions could not sell him its phase connector, he was bitten by the gorg Bitey, prompting him to remove his hand from his blaster. Angrily, Kee ordered several other items to be delivered to loading dock 23 in the Colossus's loading docks and left.[2]

When Xiono delivered the requested items to the loading dock, Kee confronted the mechanic at blaster-point and locked him in the dock's storage locker. With Xiono out of the way, Kee returned to the Office of Acquisitions and used a tool to cut through its door. Wielding his blaster, he entered the store, unaware that Xiono's astromech droidBB-8—was still inside. When BB-8 shifted behind a crate, Kee swung in the droid's direction with his blaster, though he turned away after not seeing further movement. Kee then used his blaster to fry the store's back room door controls, finding his coveted phase connector. BB-8 attacked Kee as he left with the phase connector, prompting the latter to shoot at the droid with his blaster. Kee chased BB-8 through the Office of Acquisitions, firing off several shots, though not managing to hit the droid. However, Kee eventually managed to trap BB-8 beneath a shelf and left with his stolen prize, blaster re-holstered.[2]

Kee brought the phase connector aboard his freighter, unaware that Xiono had escaped from the storage locker and stowed away on the vessel. When Xiono tricked Bitey into sabotaging the ship's electrical systems, Kee and two First Order stormtroopers heard the commotion caused by the electrical malfunction and rushed toward the gorg. Kee aimed his blaster at Bitey, but stumbled as the gorg only bit down harder, causing the freighter to list sideways. After regaining his footing, Kee shot at Bitey several more times, though he missed each shot. Kee and the two stormtroopers then rushed to stabilize the phase connector as the ship continued listing, with Kee clutching his blaster in one hand and throwing himself on top of the device. After it became apparent the ship was crashing, Kee holstered his blaster and abandoned the freighter via an escape pod.[2]

Teroj's blaster first appeared in "Dangerous Business,"[2] the thirteenth episode of the first season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance,[4] which aired on January 20, 2019.[5] Prior to the episode's release, the weapon appeared in an extended sneak peek for the season released on the official Star Wars YouTube channel on September 27, 2018.[6] Lucasfilm Animation artist Aaron Pham created concept art of the blaster, which identified it as Teroj's blaster, on June 27, 2017.[1]

The weapon's base model was later re-used for the miner Flobb's blaster, albeit with colors and textures changed by Pham in its concept art.[7] Flobb's blaster appeared in "From Beneath,"[8] the sixth episode of the second season of Star Wars Resistance, which aired on November 10, 2019.[5]
