- "Still live on Syngia some monstrosities do. Properly warned, all Knights should be."
- ―Yoda's annotation in The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force
Syngia was a planet[source?] located in the Syngia system of the Sertar sector,[3] in the Trans-Hydian portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It lay on the hyperlane known as the Shaltin Tunnels, which connected it to the Lianna and Zygerria systems.[1]
History
Syngia was where the ancient Sith Lord Remulus Dreypa practiced his mastery over the creation of life, and where he left behind his mysterious Genesis pool.[5]
Mutated creatures, descended from those created by Sith alchemy, lived on the planet. Grand Master Yoda of the Jedi Order was aware of these beasts, and warned other Jedi of their existence through a notation in his copy of The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force.[4]
