Unidentified thin creature

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A thin creature was used as a pet during the time of the New Republic. It was a four-legged creature with a thin waist, protruding ribs, dainty feet with only one toe, and a long nose.^[1]

A Sy Myrthian New Republic ambassador had one of these creatures as a pet.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The creature appeared in The Wildlife of Star Wars: A Field Guide, written by Terryl Whitlatch and Bob Carrau and illustrated by Terryl Whitlatch, in the "Senators and their Menageries" section of the book.

It isn't named in the book, nor is there an entry about it; not even its planet of origin is known.^[1]
