A sonic immobilizer was a type of cylindrical weapon used to electrocute an opponent during a fight. It consisted of a gray metallic rod and an electric tip.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] the Gand bounty hunter Zuckuss and fellow droid 4-LOM were hired by the Unbroken Clan, a criminal organization, to capture or kill the cyborg bounty hunter Beilert Valance and the human female Cadeliah. After finding them in the Slade's Repairs shop on the Spur Orbiting Market space station, and after a short fight, Zuckuss used a sonic immobilizer to stun Valance, who screamed in pain. Valance then removed the sonic immobilizer from his chest and briefly used it to fight back before running away with Cadeliah.[1]

The sonic immobilizer appeared in Bounty Hunters 6, an issue of the comic-book series Star Wars: Bounty Hunters published by Marvel Comics[1] on October 21, 2020.[3] The comic was written by Ethan Sacks and illustrated by Paolo Villanelli.[1]
