The Outland Clan were a clan of S'kytri consisting of those who embraced life as "walkers", as well as those who were born with deformities and reverse-pigmentation but had gone undestroyed upon hatching. They made up a third of the S'kytri population on their homeworld of Skye. Long before the Clone Wars, the Outland Clanners served as the Lowlanders' serfs, etching a niche farming the arable land among Skye's mountains. Later, the other clans ended up allowing the Oulanders to live in defiance of the sacred laws in exchange for the foodstuff they produced. The three clans lived in relative peace due to their economic dependency on each other until the genetic terrorist Zeta Magnus turned the Outland Clanners against the other S'kytri. After seducing the Outlanders with the promise that he could increase their agricultural productivity and reverse their pigmentation with advanced sciences, he infected them with a plague that turned them into zombie-like creatures. With the Outlanders under his control, Zeta Magnus used them to build his fortress on Skye and dispatched them on suicide raids against the citadels of the Lowland and Highland Clans. After Republic forces arrived to apprehend the terrorist, the S'kytri fought the Outlanders in a brutal battle.[1]
