Skeeg was a mollusk native to the planet Vendara.
Biology and appearance
Skeegs hunted insects, attracting them with a strong scent and trapping them with wing-like appendixes. Skeegs also had poison as a defense should the trapped insects fight back. Though the poison was only painful for bigger beings, it was rumored that some criminal organization could have bred mutant skeegs with lethal poison.[1]
Behavior
Skeegs were anti-social and only interacted with other members of their kind during mating.[1]
History
Natives of Vendara told stories of huge sea-dwelling skeegs that were hunted for meat. The scent glands of skeegs were used in creating perfumes.[1]
