Brainwashing

Brainwashing was a tool used by Imperial Intelligence. One of their favored techniques was to use the synoptic teacher manufactured by Consolidated Learning Systems.

The Galactic Empire used hypno-imprinting to brainwash captured Alliance agents. The prisoners were then released and made their way back to the Rebel bases, where they spied on the Alliance without realizing what they were doing.^[1]
