Rian Rann was a Sullustan pilot and a high-ranking member of the Mytaranor Slaving Council.[1]
A member of the Sullustan Home Guard up to his expulsion on 0 BBY, he then joined Mytaranor Slaving Council as the main navigator of the Council's mobile headquarters, the Mandalorian Dungeon ship Vanquisher. In little time, he became the master pilot of the Vanquisher, a ship he loved as if it was his own. He hired three skilled Verpine technicians only to maintain the ship, a task they performed while aided by R2-K7.[1]
Rann was a qualmless slaver, torturing the prisoners who did not obey his every command.[1]
