District 52 was one of the vertically-stacked levels of the Spire, the capital city of Zakuul and the Eternal Empire. The highest level of all, it housed the Overwatch command center and contained the point of entry to the Eternal Throne room.[1] Those living on this level occasionally boasted of their proximity to the Emperor, although its living conditions were identical to every other district.
