Preeban was a male Weequay technician who operated in the Worker's District in Canto Bight.
Biography
In the year 3 ABY,[2] the smuggler Kay Vess visited Preeban's workplace and requested that he fix her damaged data spike. Preeban told her that they could not be seen with each other, as he feared Sixth Kin would discover that he provided the location of their vault in Club Tarsus to Vess, which she planned to infiltrate. He asked why the young smuggler was rushing her plans to get off-world and told her there was too much heat. When she explained she needed to escape the planet, he told her maybe the planet was done with her and questioned her belief that things were better in the wider galaxy for her. He eventually agreed to repair the spike if she could give him the credits. After completing the work, he told Vess she could thank him by never returning.[1]
