Orthoclase was a opalescent white material.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] Supreme Chancellor Veeth Drellik wore a signet of office with an orthoclase setting on his left middle finger[1] while attending[3] a formal tribunal in the Jedi Diplomatic Tower on the planet Coruscant.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, orthoclase appeared in "The Acolyte,"[3] the eighth episode of the Disney+ live-action series of the same name, which aired on July 16, 2024.[4] It was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] In the real world, orthoclase is a type of mineral occasionally cut as a gem.[5]
