Narin was a Kajain'sa'Nikto who ran a shop during the reign of the Galactic Empire, and was an old acquaintance of the smuggler Lando Calrissian, who had helped Narin get a job with Jabba the Hutt at one point.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] Calrissian visited Narin's shop to acquire a datacard that contained plans for Jabba's Palace which Calrissian needed. Narin initially asked for five thousand credits, but after the Nikto was strangled by the Wookiee Chewbacca, Narin raised the price to ten thousand. Calrissian was outraged at the new price and left, but stated he would be back to pay for the plans when he had gathered the money. After Calrissian left, a Zabrak approached Narin and asked if the Nikto had had trouble, to which Narin responded it was under control. The Zabrak then stated they knew who Calrissian was, and Narin replied that the Galactic Empire did too.[1]
