Energy Catapults were artillery vehicles used by the Royal Naboo Security Force. They were Gray in color and fired a single blue energy beam that was highly effective against buildings and stationary soldiers. Energy Catapaults were built at heavy weapons factories. During the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation in 32 BBY, three Energy Catapaults were stationed in the city of Harte Secur. They were destroyed in the assault of the city led by the Trade Federation battle droid OOM-9.[1]
Behind the scenes
Naboo energy catapaults were introduced in the 2001 LucasArts video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, where they were the artillery unit for the Royal Naboo civilization.[1]
