Mieq was a female Cathar who lived during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. She made her living as a merchant selling starship parts in the Olaris Spaceport on the world of Taris.

Mieq first appeared in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare in 2011, as a starship upgrade vendor on Taris in the Olaris Spaceport.
