"You've been a little too loud, Kitster."
"I… I don't know what you're talking about."
"Come on. We got one of your capsules already. And before he died, the vendor said you had a couple more."
―The thief and Kitster Banai[2]

A human thief operated on the planet Tatooine between 3 ABY and 4 ABY. With two accomplices, they killed a vendor for an energy capsule and then sought out the pair who had sold it to him, Kitster Banai and Wald. The thief shot Banai in the shoulder and then threatened his friend Melee, forcing Banai and Wald to hand over all four of their energy capsules. The three thieves were then killed by the Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon, who had been sent to find the capsules by the Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Biography

Banai: "That's the last one! I swear we don't have anything left!"

―The thief threatens Melee with a blaster[2]

A human thief and two accomplices killed a vendor for an energy capsule on[2] the planet[3] Tatooine[2] between 3 ABY and 4 ABY.[1] Before his death, the vendor revealed to the thieves that he had purchased the capsule from the human Kitster Banai and the Rodian Wald and that the pair had more of them. The three thieves then tracked down Banai and Wald while the duo sat with their friends Amee, Melee, and Seek around a fire at night. The thief then announced their presence by shooting Banai in the shoulder with a blaster pistol and taking an energy capsule that he had been holding.[2]

The thief threatened Melee to obtain the energy capsules.

The thief threatened Melee to obtain the energy capsules.

The thief revealed that they had killed the vendor and learned of Banai's other capsules, but he claimed that there were no others. Unconvinced, the thief held their blaster to Melee's head, forcing Banai and Wald to hand over the remaining three capsules that they had been hiding. The other two thieves then collected the capsules, and one confirmed they were picking up no further energy readings.[2]

As the leader claimed to be satisfied with the haul, the Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon, who had been sent by the Sith Lord Darth Vader to retrieve the capsules for the Galactic Empire, killed the trio of thieves with a single sweep of his electrostaff. Ochi then took the capsules and left, leaving Banai and his friends unharmed.[2]
