The Medica was a Pelta-class frigate.

History

The Medica was a medical frigate in the Republic Navy. It was commanded by Captain Jarl.

It picked up Obi-Wan Kenobi, who had been stranded on an asteroid. The ship was later attacked by Zygerrian deserters for its bacta. The Zygerrians had captured a spice transport vessel, the Wayfarer.

The Zygerrians were beaten, treated for their injuries and taken into custody.
