The Medal of Alderaan was a medal awarded to honor exceptional heroes of the Rebel Alliance. It was designed by a craftsman from Alderaan who survived the destruction of his home planet.[1] The Medal of Alderaan shared the same design as the Medal of Yavin.[1][2]
