Marilena Pet-and-Ella Alda Mattea was the human commander of Freemarch, a rebel movement operating at the[1] astronomical object[2] Lorrd in the Corporate Sector.[1] Between 5 BBY and 4 BBY,[3] Mattea was featured in a report sent from General Davits Draven to Senator Mon Mothma, both leading members of a rebel network against the Galactic Empire. The report detailed major resistance movements against the Empire which were active in the latter faction's territories. The report later became part of an archive of non-electric documents known as The Rebel Files, compiled by archivist Hendri Underholt[1] by the year 4 ABY.[4] Mattea had brown hair, blue eyes, and light-colored skin. In the profile, Mattea wore a brown shirt with a yellow collar and a brown bandolier.[1]

Behind the scenes

Marilena Pet-and-Ella Alda Mattea was first mentioned in the 2017 reference book and boxed set Star Wars: The Rebel Files, written by Daniel Wallace. Adrián Rodriguez was responsible for drawing the illustrations on the page where Mattea is featured.[1]

  3. In Star Wars: The Rebel Files, the report featuring Marilena Pet-and-Ella Alda Mattea was made between the mission to free Wookiee prisoners and the action at Mustafar. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the events of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, where the mission to free Wookiee prisoners takes place, and the action at Mustafar to 5 BBY and 4 BBY respectively. Therefore, the report must have been made between those years.
  4. According to Star Wars: The Rebel Files, the bombardment of Durkteel, where Hendri Underholt was in possession of the most completed version of The Rebel Files, took place at the same time as Battle of Endor. Since Star Wars: Galactic Atlas states that the Battle of Endor was fought in 4 ABY, the bombardment of Durkteel occurred that year.
