Major Mianda was the commander of a TIE squadron assigned to defend the Second Death Star during construction. The Major hand picked pilots to serve with him. He piloted Scythe 1 during the Battle of Endor, and pursued Rebel starfighters in the Death Star's corridors.^[2]
