Maia and the Dewbacks was a band that resided on the planet Tatooine[1] in 3 ABY.[2] During that time, they performed nights at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley[1] with their song "Kisses and Spotchka".[3]
In 3 ABY, the band was made up of a human and three Trandoshans. The human played a kloo horn. One Trandoshan played an ommni box, another played a double jocimer and the last played a bandfill.[1]
Behind the scenes
The band was first created for the 2024 Ubisoft video game, Star Wars Outlaws.[1] Their song, "Kisses and Spotchka", was composed by Cody Matthew Johnson for the game and was released with the Songs from the Underworld (Original Music from Star Wars Outlaws) soundtrack. The soundtrack was also where their name was first mentioned.[3]
