The anti-launch cylinder was a component used in Kelvarek Consolidated Arms' MM9 rocket system. When homing rockets were loaded into the MM9, the projectiles were locked into place by the anti-launch cylinder, allowing the launcher's integrated targeting computer to interface with the rocket's onboard systems. Pressing the launcher's anti-launch release stud enabled the warhead and activated the targeting laser, allowing the rocket to track a target once launched.[1]
