The Cicada was a speeder bike model produced by Meirm Speeder Emporium during the Third Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. It had an optional sidecar attachment.[1]

The Meirm Cicada first appeared in the Game Update 7.6 of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith released in December 2024 and was free to players with active subscription between November 29, 2024 and January 4, 2025.[1] The Meirm Cicada mount was inspired by Fern and KB's hoverbike from the Disney+ live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.[2] The Meirm Cicada was the first mount in Star Wars: The Old Republic that has both companion and mini pet functionality.[1]
