The langlatch was an animal with grayish skin native to Lok.[1] The langlatch was a very aggressive and voracious predator that ate indiscriminately warm or cold-blooded creatures and were known to attack prey much larger than themselves.[3] Male langlatches walked on four legs while the females primarily walked on two legs, using their front arms for taking care of their offspring. Langlatches were roaming animals usually hunted for their hides and meat.[4]
Following the Battle of Yavin, field researchers discovered giant langlatches on Lok.[4] In 1 ABY,[5] the collector Breac Slaus tasked a group of spacers to hunt and kill an unreasonable number of langlatches.[6]

Langlatches appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[7]

Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
