A human senator worked for the Imperial Senate during the Imperial Era. They had dark skin and grey hair. In 3 BBY, they met with Senator Mon Mothma and her aide Erskin Semaj while Mothma who was trying to get the votes to challenge the Emperor Palpatine's extension of the Public Order Resentencing Directive. Despite voting with Mothma on issues related to sector boundaries, civil liberties, personal freedom and respect for local tradition they refused to support the challenge to the P.O.R.D. Telling Mothma not to confuse criminality and politics with respect to the bill which they viewed as being about security. During the meeting they had a short grey-white beard and wore an elaborate brown and gold robe.[1]

The senator was portrayed by Madhav Sharma and appeared in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in the series's fourth episode, "Ever Been to Ghorman?," which was released on Disney+[1] on April 29, 2025.[2] They were listed in the episode's credits as simply "Senator #2"[1]
