Jones[2] was a Human[1] male.[2] In 22 BBY,[3] Jones and a relative, Indiana Jones, were tied back to back on two chairs and hidden behind a bookshelf on the planet Christophsis during a battle there between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[1]
A pair of individuals found two sports cars and parked them on the two pads next to the bookshelf, which caused the shelf to rise upwards, freeing the Jones boys.[2]
Jones had light skin, a gray beard and white moustache, and black eyes. The Human wore a gray coat and pants, along with a gray hat and spectacles.[1]
Behind the scenes

The character of Henry Jones Sr. was created for the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the third film in the Indiana Jones franchise created by Star Wars creator George Lucas. Jones was portrayed by Sean Connery, acting opposite Harrison Ford, known for playing Han Solo in Star Wars, as Henry's son, Indiana Jones.[4] The first Star Wars related source to mention Henry was a preview for the film in the fourth issue of The LucasFilm Fan Club Magazine, published in July 1988.[5] The film itself premiered on May 24, 1989.[6] An image of Connery in his costume was used on the cover of the magazine's ninth issue, published in the Fall of 1989.[7]
The character's made a Star Wars appearance in the video game LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars,[1] and was identified as one of the Jones boys in the accompanying Prima Game Guide by Stephen Stratton and Nick von Esmarch,[2] both of which were released on March 22, 2011.[8][9] Jones appears in the level "The Hidden Enemy" and can be discovered by players in free-play mode, doing so allows the player to find one of the ten minikits hidden throughout the level.[1] Both Jones's being tied together references a scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in which both characters are tied together by the Nazis in Castle Brunwald.[4]
