The Far Indosa system was a part of the Loop Worlds area of the Gordian Reach sector, within the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was linked via hyperlane to the Near Indosa system and contained two worlds that had potential value for mining operations.[1]
During the final years of the existence of the Galactic Republic, which transformed into the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, the worlds of the Far Indosa system were opened for mining. Subsequently, the majority of the miners from the nearby world Near Indosa, which had been mined for millennia and had been nearly depleted of any valuable resources, relocated there.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Far Indosa system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square P-6.[1]
