A med-glide wheelchair[2] was a type of hovering white wheelchair used for patients at Lina Soh Hospital on the planet Coruscant. In 1 BBY, a nurse wheeled[1] the elderly patient Faiza[3] into one of the hospital's corridors in a med-glide and told her that someone would be with her shortly before departing. The disguised rebel Kleya Marki, who was infiltrating the hospital to reach her imprisoned comrade Luthen Rael, then began pushing the wheelchair, using it and Faiza to aid her disguise as she traveled up to the seventeenth floor in a turbolift.[1]

There, an Imperial Security Bureau sentry told her she could proceed no further, so Marki left Faiza sat in the wheelchair nearby and proceeded alone to the nineteenth floor. Remaining in the chair, the patient stared out a window, scatting quietly to herself[1] as she happily swung her hooved feet[2] as they dangled from the chair.[1]

Behind the scenes

A med-glide wheelchair appeared in "Make It Stop" and on a screen in "Who Else Knows?," the tenth and eleventh episodes of the second season of the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor,[1] which both aired on May 13, 2025.[4]
