Dasha Sigweed was a Twi'lek singer and DJ living during the Clone Wars. They were known for their loud, rhythmic leap-jump style.[1]
Behind the scenes
Dasha Sigweed's name is a play on the name of the European DJ duo Sasha & John Digweed.[2] In Slugthrowers: An Overview of Popular Music and Musicians in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, a 2013 article written by Edward M. Erdelac for the official StarWars.com blog, the character was mistakenly referred to as "Sasha Digweed."[1]
