The Darklighter farm,[2] also known as the Darklighter homestead,[3] was a moisture farm owned by the family of Biggs Darklighter on the planet Tatooine.[2] It fell into disrepair sometime after the Battle of Yavin, to the point it was abandoned[1] by 3 ABY,[4] with broken vaporators and the interior was filled with wild vegetation.[1]
In 3 ABY, the mercenary Hoss hid out at the farm after escaping from prison in Wayfar. After which the sheriff of Wayfar Quint Cresadde directed a bounty hunter that was looking for Hoss to the farm. Once there, Hoss killed the hunter in the kitchen of the farm and left the farm, leaving behind the body and a transponder. Later Cresadde also sent the scoundrel Kay Vess to the farm who was looking to hire Hoss for a job. While there Vess was able to restore power to the farm and found the transponder and used it to track down Hoss.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Darklighter homestead was first mentioned in canon in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations.[3] It was later first depicted in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws that was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
