The Corellian butterfly was a butterfly that lived in the swamps of Corellia. It had a long tail containing a stinger, and very large wings.
Description
Corellian butterflies can be classified in several castes: drones, workers, warriors, defenders, and monarchs. While the drones were peaceful, the defenders were known to be aggressive.[3]
Corellian butterfly meat was comestible. The cookbook Essential Cooking Skills detailed how to best cook that meat.[4]

Corellian butterflies appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[5]
