Corellia University research outpost was a research outpost on Talus, that was part of Corellia University. In 1 ABY, members of the Cult of Exar Kun traveled to the outpost, to recruit some of the researchers and students to their ranks. One researcher refused, as he claimed that they were being forced to join against their will, so the cultists killed him.

After the University lost contact with the outpost, Professor Cornelius Wagglehorn hired a spacer to go and find out what had happened. The spacer found the outpost deserted, but learned the truth of what had happened from the dead researcher's datapad.

Behind the scenes

The Corellia University research outpost was a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,^[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.^[2] The Corellia University research outpost was added to the game along with the "Exar Kun" Heroic Encounter,^[1] introduced with the release of the "Chapter 9" update, on April 3, 2008.^[3]
