Chay Lelando, also known as "Millennium Falcon Man," was a[2] Human[1] male.[2] At some point, Lelando was present on[1] the planet[3] Tatooine and inspected a YT-1300 light freighter using a datapad. They congratulated an individual on their ownership of the light freighter and remarked that the ship was made famous by[1] the smuggler[3] Han Solo's Millennium Falcon.[1]

Lelando had brown hair, brown eyes, and light skin. While on Tatooine, Lelando wore a brown vest over a tan-colored long sleeved shirt with goggles around their neck. They also wore tan-colored pants with a brown belt and brown boots.[1]

Chay Lelando was portrayed by Keeper of the Holocron Leland Chee in a trailer released on October 23, 2010 promoting the reference book Star Wars: Millennium Falcon: A 3-D Owner's Guide,[2] which was authored by Ryder Windham and released on September 1 of the same year.[4] While unidentified within the trailer, the character was subsequently identified via a post on Chee's blog on StarWars.com on October 24 where he expressed having a great time making the video.[2] In a StarWars.com article about Leland Chee's Holocron continuity database, the entry for Lelando was utilized to display the database's appearance, mentioning Lelando's named in Aurebesh text.[5]
