"In the Empire" was an Imperial propaganda song performed by Candace along with Baljeet and Buford as her backing vocalists. On 0 BBY,[2] They sang the propaganda while walking through the open desert on the planet Tatooine to remind themselves about the orientation they received from the Empire.[1]

"In the Empire" appeared in Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars, a non-canon crossover special[1] which premiered on July 26, 2014.[3] It was an original song created for the crossover.[1] The song was written and composed by Wayne Brady, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, Martin Olson, and Dan Povenmire.[4]
