The VM-19 heavy blaster was a heavy blaster pistol capable of switching modules during combat. Modules included blaster bolts, stun, and ion. Kay Vess used a worn VM-19 during the Imperial Era.[1]
Behind the scenes
A VM-19 heavy blaster first appeared in the video game Star Wars Outlaws which was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2] Prior to the game's release on August 30, 2024, its blaster was first shown in the game's "World Premiere Trailer" released on June 8 2023.[3] It was first identified as a "VM19 heavy blaster" in the "All the Star Wars Lore, Details & Easter Eggs" released on June 10, 2024.[4] Concept artist for the blaster was done by the Concept Artist Kamil Haddad under Art Director Benedikt Podlesnigg with the in–game model being created by Jakub Mrówczyński.[5]
