The Big Sink was the name given to the fractured ice sheets in the Northern Snowdrift Hills in the planet Hoth's Clabburn Tundra. The Sink was caused by a subterranean volcanic cavern that vented in the center of the Sink; Frostclaw's Den was located underneath the Sink, branching off of the volcanic sinkhole.
