Beti (rifle)

Beti was a modified snub-barrelled blaster rifle owned by Sylvestri Yarrow. A gift from her mother Chancey, Sylvestri named the rifle after her childhood doll as a joke.[1] The blaster rifle resembled[2] the E-5 blaster rifle later used by the Trade Federation[3] and Confederacy of Independent Systems in the late Republic Era.[4]

Behind the scenese

Beti the blaster rifle first appeared in the 2021 novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows.[1] The rifle's name was spelled "Betty" in an excerpt of the novel published with The High Republic: Into the Dark.[5]
