Beryl was a male Human scout of the Galactic Republic on the planet Voss during the Galactic War. Stationed at the Kri-Ta Outpost in the Pelath-Ri Marches, he discovered a Gormak plan to use artillery to target the Shrine of Healing and asked a Republic hero to put a stop to it.
