Baysden was a Human[1] Imperial stormtrooper sergeant during the Galactic Civil War.[2] In 0 BBY,[3] Baysden was among the sandtroopers brought to the[2] desert planet[4] Tatooine by Captain Alima[2] to search for[5] the fugitive Rebel[6] droids C-3PO and R2-D2.[5] The droids were wanted for carrying the stolen plans for the Empire's first Death Star battle station.[6] Baysden, like other sandtrooper leaders brought to Tatooine by Alima, was a seasoned veteran. He wore full stormtrooper armor, and wielded a blaster rifle.[2]
