Atapap I was part of the Atapap system in the Inner Rim.[1] At the dawn of the Old Republic, centuries before the rise of the Galactic Empire, it was, along with Fadden and Aquilae, settled by colonists of the Duros species,[3] which was native to the Core Worlds planet Duro.[4]
Behind the scenes
Atapap I was first mentioned in "The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life: The Duros," an article authored by Bart Armstrong and Steve Miller with Cory Herndon and published in Star Wars Gamer 2[3] in February 2001.[5] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Atapap system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square N-12.[4]
